1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using Kashfi (the "Service") — including our website, mobile apps and any related features — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.

2. What Kashfi is

Kashfi is an information and comparison service. We aggregate prices and product data from a range of sources and link you out to third-party retailers where purchases are made. Kashfi does not sell, ship, or fulfil any product, and is not a party to any transaction between you and a retailer.

• We surface and compare prices, specifications and product information.
• We provide algorithmic health scores on eligible grocery products.
• We direct you to the retailer's own website to complete any purchase.

3. Pricing & availability

Prices and stock information shown on Kashfi are indicative and are sourced from third parties. They may be out of date and are refreshed when you view a product. We do not guarantee that any price or availability is accurate, current, or complete.

The binding price is the one shown on the retailer's own website at checkout. Always confirm the final price, fees, taxes and availability on the retailer's site before purchasing.

4. Health scores & product information

Health scores and related product information are provided for informational purposes only and are generated algorithmically using public methodologies such as Nutri-Score (2023), NOVA classification and additive databases.

Health scores are not medical, nutritional, or dietary advice. They are not a substitute for professional judgement. Always consult a qualified healthcare or nutrition professional before making decisions that affect your health, especially if you have allergies, medical conditions, or specific dietary needs. Always read the product label.

5. Affiliate relationships

Kashfi participates in affiliate programs, including Amazon Associates, Noon Partners, ArabClicks and DCMnetwork. When you click through to a retailer and make a qualifying purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

Affiliate commissions do not determine, influence, or change our health scores. When we highlight a "best price", we rank by price — not by commission. For more detail, see our Privacy Policy and the disclosure in our footer.

6. Accounts & acceptable use

If you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service except as expressly permitted.
• Abuse, disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service.
• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.

7. Intellectual property

The Kashfi brand, logos, design, software and original content are owned by Kashfi or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Product data, brand names, images and specifications belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and comparison purposes.

8. Third-party retailers & links

The Service contains links to third-party retailers and websites. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, prices, product information, fulfilment, returns, warranties, or policies. Your dealings with any retailer are solely between you and that retailer, and are governed by their terms.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including any warranty of accuracy, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that prices, health scores, or product information are accurate, complete, or current.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kashfi and its officers, employees and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service — including any decision made in reliance on a price or health score.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kashfi and its officers, employees and partners from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

12. Governing law & jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Arab Emirates. For users in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, applicable Saudi law may also apply to your use of the Service. The parties will first seek to resolve any dispute amicably; failing that, disputes will be resolved before the competent courts as set out above.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
